My name is Karen, I am a retired photographer living my artistic dreams, on a small lake, surrounded by a beautiful forest from which I receive daily inspiration.

From my earliest memories, creating, whether it was with pen and ink, finger painting or sculpting in the mud, was like magic to me. I learned the allure of making and presenting a small part of myself in a physical form with color, shape and energy, and later turned to photography to make my living. After retiring, I came back to hand-worked creations and discovered pyrography or wood burning, watercolors, origami, button art and most recently quilling. Creating with my hands is a passion and joy I wish to share with the world!
